Anna + Dave = Anave
Oh goodness. We have been dying to share this wedding on our blog. We love weddings that perfectly embody our couple.
Let us tell you – this one was dead on. Anna and Dave are so incredibly kind, simple and laid back. Their wedding,
held at a campground in Prince William Forest Park, was all those things and more. They invited their friends and
family to join them for a whole weekend of festivities which we loved. Why stop at one day? Why not a weekend of awesome?
One of the best parts of the wedding was when their long time friend gave a speech and simply asked anyone who had ever
roomed with either Anna or Dave to raise their hand – more than half did. These two have SO MANY friends and loved ones!!
You could look around as they exchanged vows and see all the love they’ve accumulated over the years through various friendships
shining right back at them. Though there were tears of joy, everyones face was plastered with a huge smile the whole ceremony.
Afterwards we retired to the cabins to play lawn games (yes please) and listen to speeches. Then we headed over to the pavilion
for square dancing. What an amazing time that was. Aside from our Indian weddings we’ve never seen such participation
in the dancing portion of the day. Everyone was on their feet and having a blast. Oh and don’t even get us started on their
cookie table. Delicious. They ended the night circled around the campfire gabbing with friends. So relaxed and easy going.
The day was so offbeat and wonderful – definitely on our list of top favorite weddings ever.
We wish you all the love in the world, Anave. You both deserve it.
Enjoy your life together!!
