Nina + Josh = Nosh
They were married on a slightly rainy day in DC. As we remind all of our couples – we put in a call so that the
weather would be perfect for the wedding. It was! Sure the day started off with patches of showers and random
bouts of pouring rain – these two wouldn’t let it get to them for a second. This couple knew that at the end of the
day they’d be married to their best friend so they didn’t let ANYTHING get them down.
Their ceremony was literally one of the most interesting and beautiful ceremonies we’ve shot to date.
Have you ever seen a Russian Orthodox wedding? They’re rad. They involve candles, crowns, things in threes
and ahhhhmazing live choirs. The reception took place in Bethesda, MD at the same Marriott we started the day at.
The decor was beautiful and included personally made watercolor place cards for each guest as well as printed hankies as
favors! They started the dancing off with the Cajun Wedding March which is always an awesome way to start a reception.
The dancing went all night and even to the very end people were up and shaking it. All in all – it rocked. Nina’s family
even ended the night doing a rendition of “So Long, Farewell” from The Sound Of Music. Minds = Blown.
There isn’t more to say about these two that we haven’t already said. If it’s possible to be in love with another
couple as a couple then that is definitely what is going on here. We adore when our clients become friends. Even
more so when they become BFFs. Yeah, we might be slightly creepy. They dig it! ;-D
Nosh – you’re the tops. Don’t you ever forget it. <3
